Jimmy O’Connell is a Dublin-born poet, writer and performer who has been writing and presenting his work for many years across a wide range of venues.
His poetry has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies, including The Baltimore Review, Poetry Ireland Review, Stepaway Magazine, Flare 7 & 10, Poetry for a New Ulster, The Wexford Bohemian, the Ken Saro-Wiwa inspired collection Voices from the Land, Books Beyond Borders Anthology, Skylight 47 and Howl.
His published work includes the poetry collection The Geography of Feeling and the novel Death in Garrydangan, both of which reflect his range as a writer across poetry and prose.
