Anne Tannam is an award-winning Irish poet, spoken word performer and professional certified coach from Drimnagh, Dublin.
She recently served as Poet in Residence with Poetry Ireland from 2023 to 2025 and is recognised for work that brings clarity, tenderness and emotional precision to themes of love, loss, femininity, creativity and everyday human experience.
Her poetry collections, published by Salmon Poetry, include Take This Life (2011), Tides Shifting Across My Sitting Room Floor (2017), Twenty-six Letters of a New Alphabet (2021) and her latest collection, dismantle (2024), a powerful exploration of womanhood, myth and personal loss.
Alongside her writing, Anne works as a Professional Certified Coach, helping writers develop sustainable creative practices and overcome blocks.
She has facilitated workshops at the Irish Writers Centre and performed at events and festivals including Electric Picnic, Lingo, and international poetry festivals in India and Berlin.
