Most of us have heard of figures like Zeus, Hercules, Artemis, Thor, Freya, and Loki — but what about Cethlenn Crooked-Tooth, The Mórrigan, or Lugh Lamfhada? In this workshop, Sinéad will guide young participants into the fascinating world of mythology, exploring what myths are, why people have told them for thousands of years, and how they still shape the stories, characters, and ideas we enjoy today.

Children will meet some of the biggest, boldest, strangest, and most brilliant mythological figures from Ireland and around the world before using their own imaginations to create something magical. Through fun discussion and creative exercises, participants will design their own mythological character or enchanted object, building confidence in storytelling, creativity, and world-building.
