Profile

Brian McLoughlin is a writer, performer and facilitator based in Mullingar.

He is one of the founding members of Inklings Writing Group, established in September 2016, and remains a frequent facilitator of the group, which contributes a weekly column to the Westmeath Examiner.

He has also facilitated Emper-Milltown Writing Group and has been involved with Scribblers, Mullingar, Poetry in the Park Athlone, Shannon Storytellers and Mullingar Toastmasters.

Brian writes plays, poetry, fiction and humour, and has performed stand-up comedy, stand-up poetry and humorous speeches, winning awards for his work.

He self-published his novel When You Come to a Fork in the Road… Take It and is currently working on his new novel.
