Daragh Coady
- Literary Debut: He released his first collection of poems, titled Menageries, in early 2025.
He has also published a book titled Temperance. - Influences & Career: Coady began writing in his mid-teens but didn’t start performing until around 2022 after a chance meeting with legendary punk poet John Cooper Clarke, who encouraged him to take the stage.
- Notable Performances:
- Held his first major hometown show at the Athena Fine Art Gallery in Longford in April 2024.
- Has performed internationally, including shows in Paris (Culture Rapide) and Berlin.
- Featured as a guest act at The Circle Sessions in Dublin and performed at various literary festivals.
- Notable Works: His poem “Anonymous to History” was composed as part of the Poetry as Commemoration project, and other works like “Chelsea’s Out Tonight” and “Adrenaline” have been featured in journals and digital platforms.
