A writer since childhood, Brendan’s journey began in 5th class at St. Mary’s Primary School in the 1970s, nurtured by the encouragement of teachers who recognised his gift for words. Over the decades, he has filled notebooks with poetry, stories, and musings—now finding new life as he revisits them with a fresh eye.
Brendan’s debut collection, Wanderling, has just been published, offering readers a lyrical and contemplative glimpse into his world. With work already underway on his second book, this conversation will explore his creative process, inspiration, and the quiet persistence of a writer who has always kept the words flowing.
