At the Festival

The Big Community Haiku

I am delighted to invite EVERYONE- young and old, poet or novice, rich and poor to the BIG COMMUNITY HAIKU.
Gather in Mullingar Library as I guide you through writing a haiku using a fun prompt.

Don’t know what a haiku is? Don’t worry! This isn’t about being brilliant or the best, this is about coming together to create something unique.

Each person’s poem will be proudly added to a giant display board that will remain in Caffrey’s Bar for the duration of the festival.

It’s a joyful, inclusive celebration of creativity where every voice is part of the story.

Admission is free. Early arrival is recommended to avoid disappointment.
