Mullingar Literary Festival 2025 Announces Full Programme of Events
Mullingar, Ireland – July 4th–6th, 2025 – Mullingar is set to come alive with words, music, and imagination as the Mullingar Literary Festival 2025 unfolds over a vibrant three-day weekend from Friday, July 4th to Sunday, July 6th. With an exciting lineup of literary luminaries, musicians, and poets, this year’s festival promises a rich celebration of creativity at venues across the town including Caffreys, the Greville Arms Hotel, and Mullingar Library. Artists and times are subject to change. Any changes will be notified on our website and social media.
Festival Highlights Include:
Friday, July 4th
📍 Caffreys & Greville Arms Hotel
- 5.30 pm: Opening ceremony hosted by festival chair Laurence Meehan – (Caffreys)
- 6.00 pm: Olympio – Hip-Hop, ppoken word and storytelling performance introduced by Jimmy O’Connell – (Caffreys)
- 7.15 pm: The Poetry Kiln Collective – Some of Ireland’s finest voices stir souls, challenge minds, captivate senses. – (Caffreys)
- 9.00 pm: Victoria Mary Clarke in conversation with Don Mortell – (Greville Arms Hotel)
- 10.00 pm: Live music from Cronin (this is a ticketed event – €10 per ticket) – (Greville Arms Hotel)
