Mullingar will hold its first ever literary festival this summer over three days, from Friday, 4 July to Sunday, 6 July. The event is the first of its kind in the town and will showcase a range of local and national talent across a packed programme of literary and musical performances.
Events will take place in Caffreys Bar on Mount Street, the Greville Arms Hotel and the town library, with a special live performance by Cronin on Friday night in the Greville Arms following an appearance by writer and journalist Victoria Mary Clarke. The festival also includes a children’s reading event in Mullingar Library on Saturday morning, making it a family weekend with something for everyone.
